The Bay County Sheriff's Office Jail is the largest division of the Bay County Sheriff's Office and is commanded by Major Rick Anglin.  Major Anglin is a graduate of Florida State University and has had an extensive career in Florida Corrections.

Major Anglin has made it a priority to work closely with both sides of Judicial Operations as well as implementing and supporting programs designed to decrease recidivism.

The Bay County Jail daily population averages approximately one thousand one hundred inmates.
