The Bay County Sheriff's Office was presented with over $7,000 in new toys and cash today by the American Muscle Car Club of Panama City. The toys and money were collected at the Project 25 Show and Shine car show, held today at the Holiday Inn near the Panama City Mall.  Project 25 is the annual toy drive for needy children of Bay County.

For the past 11 years, the kick-off event for Project 25 has been the Show and Shine car show. This year's show is the most successful event to date.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office will accept donations of new, unwrapped toys and cash to provide toys for needy children at Christmas. Cash donations will be used to purchase toys at the Super Wal Mart in Callaway at 6 pm on December 11, 2012. Volunteers are asked to attend this shopping event to help shop for the children.

Donations for Project 25 can be made at the Bay County Sheriff's Office on 3421 North Highway 77 in Panama City.
