The Bay County Sheriff’s Office concluded a month long investigation yesterday November 27, 2012, with the arrest of two suspects believed conducting an “Ice” trafficking ring between Bay County, Florida, and Albany, Georgia and Atlanta, Georgia.

When narcotics investigators attempted to apprehend Shaundur Grace, DOB 7-30-73, and Octavius Weston, DOB 2/24/82, of 3325 W. 23rd Street, Panama City, Weston struck one of the investigators and fled on foot. Weston was taken into custody near Highway 231 and East Avenue after a foot chase.

Three ounces of methamphetamine in “Ice” form and two ounces of powder cocaine were seized. The investigation indicates that Grace and Weston were living in hotels in Bay County and travelled to the Atlanta area to acquire the meth and “Ice” and then distributed it between Albany and Bay County.

Grace was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Weston was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in Cocaine, Resisting an Officer and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer.
