Two Arrested by Warrants Deputies

February 18, 2019

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man today after a judge revoked his bond, and also the woman who attempted to prevent his apprehension by harboring him in her home.

BCSO Warrants deputies developed information that Stanley Ashe, age 37, was staying at 914 Hurst Court with Melissa Woodward, age 33, the owner of the residence. When deputies knocked on the door, Woodward answered. She told them that Ashe was in the home but they could not enter and needed a search warrant.

With the assistance of the Special Investigations Division, Warrants obtained the search warrant to enter the home for the person of Stanley Ashe. Ashe’s bond was revoked on charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Ammo by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Warrants deputies executed the search warrant and Ashe was taken into custody without further incident with an additional charged of Resisting Arrest Without Violence.

Melissa Woodward was also arrested and charged with Resisting Arrest Without Violence.

Both were taken to the Bay County Jail.
