Ride With Air 1 During The Hwy 79 Fire

On September 17th, 2025 a fire raged out of control off Hwy 79. As a response, our Air 1 unit took to the sky to assist the incredibly brave Bay County Fire and first responders and Florida Forestry in making sure it didn’t endanger lives or property.

Using our new BAMBI bucket, we were able to help get ahead of the spread. Ride in the cockpit through the smoke and flames with Air 1
