Man Attempts to Stab Two Deputies

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man today after he attempted to stab two deputies.

While
Warrants deputies were on patrol they saw a young man walking along the road
carrying a skateboard. The officers thought he might be a subject that they had
an active warrant for, so they got out of the car and approached him. Upon approach,
the man set down the skate board he was holding, and began swinging a steak
knife that he was carrying in the same hand as the board.

The
deputies were able to disarm the man and then took him into custody. He was
identified as Logan Christopher Allen, age 25, of 700 Transmitter Road, Panama
City. A search of his person was conducted and Allen was found to be in possession
of synthetic marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Allen was arrested and taken to
the Bay County Jail.
