CHILD ABUSE VICTIM HAS EXTENSIVE BRUISING

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a local man after a report of Child Abuse was filed. The victim was found to have extensive bruising and markings on the chest, stomach, back, and arms consistent with the alleged abuse.

Further
investigation into the complaint led investigators to identify Jaidon Michael
Naquin, age 28, of Callaway, as the suspect. Statements from the victim and
witnesses described Naquin punching and stomping the juvenile victim.

During
an interview, Naquin denied the allegations. He was charged with one count of
Child Abuse and booked into the Bay County Jail.

The
Department of Children and Families (DCF) assisted in the investigation and
will continue follow up with the victim.
