Man Wanted From Multiple Counties Captured!

On October 23rd, BCSO deputies located a vehicle that was reported stolen earlier that morning. The suspect, Brian Strickland, had multiple warrants for Fleeing and Eluding, Felony DWLSR, and other traffic violations.

Strickland also had warrants out of Okaloosa County for Fleeing and Eluding, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Violation of Probation. Strickland was also wanted for multiple new charges including Robbery, two counts of Burglary, Battery, and Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

Upon making contact, Brian fled on foot into a wooded area. Due to the nature of the charges, Strickland’s warrants, and his history of fighting law enforcement, the Deputy deployed his Taser. After a brief struggle, Brian was taken into custody and transported to the Bay County Jail after being medically cleared.
