BCSO Offers Home Watch Program

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office offers peace of mind to Bay County residents who are traveling for the holidays with the House Check Program.

Anyone
who is going to be away from home can request that the BCSO conduct extra
checks on their residence while they are gone. The BCSO will have someone not
just drive by the residence, but get out and check around the property to make
sure nothing has been tampered with while the owner is absent. Bay County
residents can enjoy their holiday travel without worrying about the possibility
of a break-in.

To
register your home, call 747-4700 Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Ask to
speak to dispatch and register your home address for the House Check Program.
