Shawn Mosley Arrested

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a local man in connection to the seizure of thousands of opiate pills—some believed to contain fentanyl?and cocaine found in a residence in Panama City.

On Sept. 27th, 2018, the Bay County
Sheriff's Office Special Investigations Division served a search warrant at an
apartment in Panama City. During their search, investigators found
approximately 2800 prescription xanax pills, 154 prescription oxycodone pills
and a small amount of powder cocaine.  Investigators believe the oxycodone
pills contain the powerful opioid fentanyl. Additional lab tests will be
conducted to obtain additional evidence the pills contain fentanyl, a powerful
opioid believed responsive for many overdose deaths.   

Investigators also seized $8828 in US currency. Inside the home at the time of the search was Shawn Mosley, the registered occupant of the apartment. 

Shawn D Mosley, age 35, of 2401
Stanford Rd, Panama City, was arrested and charged with Trafficking in
Fentanyl, Possession of Alprazolam (xanax) with Intent to Distribute,
Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
