Attorney Visitation Guidelines

Procedures and Scheduling Requirements for Legal Visits

If you are the Attorney of Record for a defendant that is currently incarcerated at the Bay County Jail and you would like to schedule a visit, please consider the following :

Visitation requests must be submitted to visits@bayso.org at least 24 hours prior to the date and time that you wish to visit your client.
Client visitation hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
Make appointments Monday - Friday only. If you have to cancel please notify the jail at (850)215-5585 as soon as possible.
If you should need to have an emergency visit with your client that would fall outside of these guidelines, please call (850) 215-5135.

How to Schedule an Attorney–Client Visitation

To schedule a client visitation, send an email to visits@bayso.org.

Make sure that you include the following:

Your client's full name.
The date and time you would like to schedule the visitation for.
A telephone number where we can reach you in case of any last- minute issues.
Email address (if different than sending address).
Please specify the type of visitation (in person, skype, or by telephone).

An employee of the Bay County Jail will acknowledge the scheduling with you by email and contact you if there are any issues during normal business hours.
